The World Health Organisation report on chronic diseases states that in the world 4.6 million (M) people had strokes, 15M people died from circulatory diseases, 165M people have rheumatoid arthritis, 135M people have diabetes and 691M people have high blood pressure.

4S is a software decision support company who mainly provide software for the long-term monitoring of chronic disease. The software yields better clinical decisions for less effort. We are determined to help make a significant and lasting contribution to chronic disease care on a global basis.

We are currently worldwide leaders in anticoagulant dosing software with over 200 customers with about 25% of our business from overseas.

We have a vacancy for an individual to grow their skills and knowledge in a small dynamic company, with a talented team of people with a high work ethic, based on the edge of the Lake District.

The role will encompass:

  • Project Co-ordination and Communication – be part of multidisciplinary teams to continually meet all aspects project requirements (pre-sales and kick-off meetings, deadline management, client status reporting and other necessary project communication and co-ordination to deliver all project and service deliverables, within budget and at the highest quality standards.
  • Reporting & Documentation – Provide project customer service reporting and summaries, perform analysis of reporting and ensure quality assurance, draft letters and emails. Keep Project, Customer and Service call documentation up to date
  • Customer Service – to help co-ordinate service calls and to assist customers with straight forward – scripted service activities.
  • General Company administration

This role will entail being involved in lean thinking/value added stream improvements and the use of software for Project Management, Kanban, Customer Relationship Management. Training will be provided on the technical aspects of the post.

  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to efficiently gather and process information in a fast-paced environment are required.
  • A relevant degree.
  • Commercial experience gained from a customer facing or analytical environment.
  • Experience of using software e.g. MS Office Suite, Project Management tools
