Handling Different Clinic Locations

VOYAGER MODULE—ALLOWS A CENTRALLY LOCATED OR MASTER DAWN AC MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TO WORK SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH CLINICS BEING RUN ON DIFFERENT SITES

BENEFITS

  • the standards or quality of care are assured with central supervision and coordination of all remote activities.

  • enables a peripatetic anticoagulation service

  • this module really allows simultaneous use of the software without the use of a wide area computer network

  • a central record is always available for a patient.

  • saves patient transport costs.

  • avoids patient inconvenience of travel and crowded waiting rooms

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Patients for the remote site are ‘checked out’ of the central system on to a portable or notebook personal computer. This is then taken to the remote site and the clinic completed using the Dawn AC software. Alternatively, the ‘checked out’ data could be sent by modem to a computer at the remote site. The system or data is then returned to the centre where the patients data is ‘checked in’.

Note: when the patients data is checked out, you can only view but not change the patient’s information centrally.

PREREQUISITE

To operate the Remote Management system you are required to have the Dawn AC Maintenance Module to act as a central master system.
