All the staff at 4S wishes you a happy holiday and all good fortune for 2006. We do really value your business and thank you.

First Customer Migrates to Version 7 Web Browser Version

The first customer who has over one million treatment records has successfully migrated from Version 6 to 7. Version 7 has been very well received by the Users who have previewed the product and many customers have also now requested quotations to upgrade.

At the User Group we discussed and explained that although the software development cost for version 7 is free of charge to those customers paying Gold support, because Version 7 is completely new technology, there are costs of migrating the data from version 6, reinstalling the software, and retraining. We proposed a fixed package price to do this as unfortunately we cannot bear this cost migrating for over 200 customers.

Also there additional technology licensing costs for each user and interfaces to other systems that we need to pay to use the powerful web technology that lies behind version7, so again we need to pass this cost on.

If you wish a quotation to migrate from V6 to  V7 or require further information please do not hesitate to contact me.

How Do You Handle Patients arriving at Clinic Partially Anticoagulated?

I would be very interested to find out what procedures or protocols you have to handle patients arriving at the outpatients clinic who have been started on anticoagulants but have not yet reached their maintenance dose. Also how do you handle the situation when it is unclear what doses have been taken and when?

American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists Meeting, Las Vegas,  5th - 8th Dec 2005

We attended the above conference and met over 50 pharmacists very  interested in our products. Many were interested in our Induction Module for initiating warfarin, plus there many who had large outpatient clinics operating with and without computer support. We were able to offer those with an old computer support system a migration path to Version 7.
