DAWN AC Anticoagulation Software UK Regional User Group

Midlands – Tuesday 2nd October 2018

The team at 4S DAWN would like to invite you to the first DAWN AC Regional User Group, which The Royal Stoke Hospital has kindly agreed to host on Tuesday 2nd October 2018.

Due to the strain on Anticoagulation Services throughout the country it has become more and more difficult for DAWN AC users to attend the annual DAWN AC user group meeting that takes them away from the clinic for 2 days, as well as the difficulties many face for the funding and study leave to attend. As a result, numbers have dwindled over the years from more than 100 delegates to less than 50.

In order to provide a User Group meeting that remains relevant and accessible and to enable us to connect with a larger number of our customers, we have decided to hold two one-day regional user groups this year – one in the Midlands and one in the London area – in place of the 2-day Windermere meeting.

Customers can then choose to attend either one or both meetings.

The team at 4S DAWN would like to invite you to the first DAWN AC Regional User Group, which The Royal Stoke Hospital has kindly agreed to host on Tuesday 2nd October 2018.

The user group will be a day (10.00am – 4.00pm) of presentations by customers, training sessions and a discussion forum with lunch and refreshments provided.

The workshop is free to attend and is an excellent opportunity to meet other DAWN users, share knowledge and best practice and learn how to get the most from your DAWN system.

We are looking for customers who would like to give a short presentation as part of the day. This could be on a range of topics such as how you use DAWN within your service, a particular aspect of DAWN’s functionality that you feel has particularly benefited your service, improving efficiency within your service, or how your service is run/set up and your daily workflows etc.

The user group will be held at The North Staffordshire Medical Institute, which is in a good location with free parking onsite or a ten-minute taxi ride from Stoke on Trent railway station.

If you are interested in participating in the workshop as either a speaker or delegate, please email melissa@4s-dawn.com with your name and whether you would like to contribute with a short presentation.

As with previous user groups, we hope to have CPD and CME accreditation for the meeting.

We are in the process of finalising the details for the second DAWN AC Regional User Group which will be held in the London area in November.
